History

COMMERCIALE FOND was founded on 14 March under the name Lingotti Fond, with the aim of distributing continuous cast iron bars and foundry machinery. After a few months, the decision was made to change to the name that has remained up to this day.

Start of commercialisation of steel castings produced by "lost wax".

Acquisition of the entire warehouse and sales network of the Cadriano Foundries (which had been the first in Italy to start importing continuous cast iron bars since 1970).

The quality management system applied by COMMERCIALE FOND was certified by RINA as conforming to the UNI-EN ISO 9001 standard, subsequently renewed according to the new UNI-EN ISO 9001-2015 standard and currently certified as conforming to the reference standard.

COMMERCIALE FOND transformed from a limited liability company (S.r.l.) to a joint-stock company (S.P.A.)

Activation of the Turin branch, in order to improve the distribution service in Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta.

Activation of the roughing service by milling on cast iron bars in Modena.

On 1 October 2012, the Milan branch was moved to its current location, doubling the surface area of both the covered warehouse and open area.

Further expansion of the Modena site, with the construction of a new warehouse and Investment casting department, with consequent expansion of the cutting department. The total covered surface area of Commerciale Fond S.p.a. thus increases to 10,000m², on a total area of 22,600m².

On March 14 Commerciale Fond celebrated its 50th anniversary. However, we won't stop there. We are energized and determined, looking strongly toward the future. With renewed enthusiasm and our trademark intensity, we will continue to evolve and serve our customers and the market with an updated and enhanced offering.

On March 21st, Commerciale Fond becomes part of the Jacquet Metals Group, a multinational with offices in Europe, Asia and North America, while maintaining all its peculiarities (company name, organizational and administrative structure, products treated, etc.). This agreement will give us a new impulse for growth and development in continuity with our origins and traditions!
