Plastics in Bars and Sheets
Plastics in bar or sheet form for the mechanical engineering industry are produced by hot extrusion of virgin polymers or by casting and pressing, in the case of sheets made from particular types of polymers. Thanks to the special technical characteristics achieved, plastics have also found strong use in the mechanical engineering sector, in many cases replacing metals by turning or milling.
We have a well-stocked warehouse of semi-finished Plastics, in round bars and sheets, for use in the mechanical sector in the following types and formats:
- PA6 – Nylon6 (Polyamide 6) available in sheets, solid and perforated round bars.
- PC (Polycarbonate) available in sheets and solid round bars.
- PE HD – HMW (High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) available in extruded sheets, pressed sheets, rolls and solid round bars.
- PET – Arnite (Polyethylene Terephthalate) available in sheets and solid round bars.
- PMMA – Plexiglass (Methacrylate) available in cast and extruded sheets, solid round bars and round tubes.
- POM C (Polyacetal Resin) available in sheets, solid round bars and perforated round bars.
- PP – Moplen (Polypropylene) available in extruded sheets, pressed sheets, solid round bars and round tubes.
- PTFE (virgin Teflon) available in sheets and solid round bars.
- PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) available in pressed sheet, extruded sheet, rigid sheet, solid round bar, perforated round bar, round tubes, various profiles and rolls.
- Bakelite (Phenolic resin) available in sheet form.
We can make extruded profiles to drawing, in any size and format.
