G.M.I Cast iron – Glass Mold Iron

Commerciale Fond proposes a new Cast Iron alloy produced in continuous casting, specifically studied for the production of molds for glass.

This cast iron called G.M.I. (acronym for “Glass Mold Iron”) presents graphite with disposal of “D” type (see micrography below) that gives the metal structure high compactness and polishing besides an high thermal dissipation.
